Marketing Assistant

Description

Northern Kentucky Non-Profit is looking for Marketing and Event Planner Assistant to work with the Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities include

• Assist in the planning and execution of all phases of event management, from concept to completion.

• Coordinate with vendors, venues, and contractors to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly.

• Assist in creating and adhering to event budgets.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and print advertising.

• Help design promotional materials and event collateral.

• Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide analysis to the marketing team.

• Provide administrative support to the event planning team.

• Handle client queries and provide excellent customer service.

• Create E-Newsletters: Ability to write short copy for events and build stories in the newsletter application.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in event planning or marketing.

• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing tools.

• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.

• Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends when necessary.
