    • Material Handler, 2nd shift (Ontario, CA) Material Handlers will assist group leads prepare the line for production; they will ensure the correct components have been issued for the work order based on the BOM. The Material Handler will keep the line supplied with components and remove waste from the line as needed. Your role:

    • The Material Handler will assist the group lead manage the workflow within the assigned manufacturing cell to achieve the daily production objective.

    • The Material Handler will keep an eye on the workflow, move full pallets of finished goods to the proper location, and monitor the inventory of components to ensure.

    • The line has enough components to complete the order. If shortages are identified, they will create a move ticket to request additional supplies to avoid delays.

    • in production. Near the end of the work order on the line, the material handler will verify all the components are correct for the next work order per the BOM

    • Material Handlers will interface with warehouse personnel to ensure all components are correct and staged in the appropriate area to avoid delays in production.

    • It will be the Material Handlers responsibility to maintain the all the materials needed to complete the work order and take appropriate action when it's not. You're the right fit if:

    • 1 year of experience in production/material handler role.

    • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

    • Dexterity to work around simple assemblies or subassemblies, box assembly.

    • Ability to apply manual labeling, perform self-inspection, and maintain quality and quantity standards per workstation.

    • Ability to follow written instructions and ability to do simple math operations.

    • Color distinction and good eye-hand coordination.

    • Ability to verify all components against work order to ensure accuracy.

Philips Transparency Details The hourly pay range for this position is $18.50, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
