Medical Assistant

Health Advocates Network is hiring a Medical Assistant (1 Year Exp Req) ! This is a full-time contract position at a nationally recognized hospital located in Hackensack, NJ.

• Pay Rate: $25.50/hour

• Shift: Days (8hrs)

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Medical Assistant Qualification and Requirements:

• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 1+ years' experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical office

• Surgical experience required

• Experience with scheduling appointments required

• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorization required

• EPIC experience required

• American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers

• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)/ Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or equivalent.

• Additional certifications may be required.
