    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our clients team as a Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical services. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping others.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.

    • Obtain and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.

    • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.

    • Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws and specimen collection, and prepare specimens for analysis.

    • Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers and in accordance with established protocols.

    • Assist with patient education and counseling on various health topics, including medication instructions, preventive care, and lifestyle management.

    • Maintain clean and organized examination rooms and equipment, following infection control and safety protocols.

    • Complete electronic health record (EHR) documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and processing patient paperwork.

    • Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent training.

    • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.

    • Prior experience working as a medical assistant in a clinical setting is advantageous.

    • Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in taking vital signs, performing basic medical procedures, and assisting with examinations.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

    • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

    • Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
