Medical Assistant

Health Advocates Network is hiring a Medical Assistant (1 Year Exp Req) ! This is a full-time contract position at a nationally recognized hospital located in Pasadena, CA.

• Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

• Shift: Days (8hrs)

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Medical Assistant Qualification and Requirements:

• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 1 year of working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting

• Previous OBGYN experience

• American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers

• Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program OR national certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI.

• Additional certifications may be required.
