Medical Assistant

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Medical Assistant for a Sports Medicine Center client in Montgomery County, MD. This role will primarily be assisting with performing patient X-Rays in addition to MA responsibilities.

Responsibilities

· Review schedule to determine the follow-up x-rays for the day

· Assist in performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment

· Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images

· Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

· Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

· Collaborate with physician and radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images

Skills and Requirements

Certified Medical Assistant

Basic or Limited Radiology training

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation. Bilingual Spanish speaking

ARRT Certification (preferred) null
