    We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our client's medical office team as a Bilingual Medical Front Office Admin. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and possess exceptional communication skills. This role requires proficiency in various administrative tasks crucial to the smooth operation of a medical office, including insurance verification, insurance eligibility checks, and a strong understanding of the medical billing cycle.

    Responsibilities

    • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and over the phone.

    • Verify patients' insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments.

    • Communicate effectively with patients to explain insurance benefits, coverage, and any out-of-pocket expenses.

    • Collect and accurately record patient demographic and insurance information.

    • Coordinate appointments and assist patients with scheduling as needed.

    • Handle administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.

    • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality regulations and HIPAA guidelines.

    • Collaborate with medical billing staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims.

    • Assist with resolving any insurance-related issues or denials.

    • Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

    Requirements

    • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).

    • Proven experience in a medical front office or similar administrative role.

    • Strong knowledge of insurance verification procedures and eligibility criteria.

    • Familiarity with medical billing software and electronic health records systems.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
