    We are seeking a Litte Rock, Arkansas Medical Receptionist for an opportunity. This is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity. This Medical Receptionist role provides customer service over the phone and in-person, as the director of first impressions. You'll be right for this Medical Receptionist position if you are a self-starter who finds value working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while providing support and solutions to patients, healthcare professionals, insurance providers, etc. Apply as soon as possible! Training for 2-3 weeks is done in Pine Bluff before transferring to a Little Rock location.

    How you will make an impact

    • Providing help to patients filling out paperwork

    • Responsible for insurance verifications with health insurance organizations

    • Making appointments, collecting co-pays, and providing receipt of money in accordance with established procedures

    • Addressing patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries

    • Order-keeping various files and providing general office duties, e.g. faxing, scanning, data entry, etc.

    • Ensuring the waiting and reception areas are kept neat and clean; reporting on any damage

    • Acting as a liaison with patients and providers in a compassionate and kind manner

    • Assisting in the management of patient medical records

    • Replying to inquiries in a detail-oriented and effective manner, while corresponding with phone calls within minimum rings

    Requirements - Incoming phone call management skills desired

    • Receptionist Duties experience

    • Command of Prior Authorizations

    • Patient Scheduling experience

    • Medical Insurance Verification experience desired

    • 1+ year of experience as a Medical Receptionist

      • You will be a top applicant if you have experience with insurance billing and an electronic medical record system, as well as social media platforms
    • Ability to multitask effectively

    • Skills in multi-line phone systems preferred

    • High School Diploma required, A.S. Degree in healthcare/related field preferred

    • Comprehension of medical terminology and insurance products
