  • Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator with Bookkeeping experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration, bookkeeping, and experience in supporting various departments such as Human Resources, Project Management, and Accounting. The role is a permanent hire position based in the Harrisburg, PA area.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks, including answering phones, managing emails, and organizing office operations.

    • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, and reconciling accounts.

    • Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

    • Support Human Resources functions, including maintaining employee records, processing paperwork for new hires, onboarding and new hire orientations.

    • Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure timely completion of administrative tasks related to project documentation, permits, and subcontractor agreements.

    • Assist in the preparation of project budgets, track expenses, and generate financial reports for management review.

    • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the office.

    Requirements

    • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration and bookkeeping roles, preferably in the construction industry.

    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

    • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
