    DuPont has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Office Professional and Document Administrator (OP-DA) supporting the overall needs of the manufacturing facilities in Midland, Michigan. As part of the Nutrition & Biosciences business, these growing cGMP facilities produce industry-leading cellulosic products for the pharmaceutical excipient and food markets and are key assets to business results. The successful candidate to this role will be passionate about applying technical and interpersonal skills to support the team in producing the highest quality products in service to our customers.

    The OP-DA handles administrative duties including calendar management, travel arrangements, procurement, basic IT support/coordination, file share security, event planning and execution, catering arrangements, reporting on management system metrics, in addition to document administration, which includes document review, proper filing / storage of information, and records retention. The incumbent of the role both maintains current systems and develops / executes ideas to continually improve. This person works closely with other admin support to ensure completion of various day-to-day activities in support of the manufacturing function.

    Your key responsibilities:

    Document Management Support

    • Maintain electronic and physical documentation per guidelines

    • Maintain file share access according to policy

    • Manage records retention according to plant policy and audit requirements

    • Document creation assistance including formatting utilizing Document Mapping tool and writing

    • Manage WebEDMS activities such as: category/folder/owner maintenance

    • Procedure Use support including metric tracking

    • Ensure that annual records retention of library is completed

    • Manage file size, duplicates, records retention, document location, document ownership, etc.

    • MOC administration

    • Run Monthly reports for WebEDMS, MOC, E&AT (management system tools) and communicate reminders

    • Ensure all required compliance checks are appropriately filed and follow-up where necessary

    • Assign tasks and provide guidance and coaching to other administrative support personnel

    General Administrative Support

    • Coordinate and manage new member integration records

    • Support the plant hiring process by coordinating interviews as needed

    • Ensure the plant's self-assessments are collected

    • Calendar management for leadership as requested

    • Organize building and/or team events including supplies and scheduling meetings

    • Order supplies, lunches and schedule meetings

    • Create and administer plant surveys including data collection

    • Xerox contact & Workstation Contact

    • Assist with basic IT needs and share best practices

    • Maintain & create plant newsletters and website

    • Expense reporting for certain plant materials and supplies

    Qualifications

    Your qualification profile:

    Key Competencies, Requirements and Preferences:

    • High school diploma required.College degree preferred.

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role with preference for manufacturing environment

    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

    • Ability to listen to understand the big picture and articulate the value of the service and how it impacts plant performance

    • High degree of ownership to the plant and equally with our organization

    • Can provide and receive a balance of pinpointed positive and constructive feedback to and from anyone

    • Positive and enthused

    • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

    • Adaptability

    • Quick learning new skills

    • Thorough knowledge of MS Office

    • SAP experience preferred

    • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
