  • General Description

    Responsible for assisting internal and external customers with online banking services. Answers and responds to internal and external customer inquiries, questions, and complaints via telephone, email, and secure message in a timely manner. Handles a variety of clerical and quality control tasks, including monitoring system access, monitoring customer account access, and maintaining customers electronic account access.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Assists internal and external customers with online banking services by phone, email, and secure message in an efficient, timely, and professional manner. Responsible for assisting customers with the online banking services available through their computer or mobile device. This duty is performed about 60% of the time.

    2. Maintains a strong working knowledge of all applicable policies, procedures, and product lines for electronic banking channels. Ensures daily activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner including both operational and call center duties as assigned. This duty is performed about 20% of the time.

    3. Demonstrates proficiency navigating all systems used by the online banking department to routinely answer customer and internal inquiries. Refers more difficult or complex problems to the online banking lead or supervisor as appropriate. This duty is performed about 15% of the time.

    4. Responsible for communicating customer enhancement requests to a lead or supervisor. Makes recommendations that would enhance the customer experience or improve functionality. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.

    5. Maintains regular and reliable attendance, punctuality and personal appearance. Reads, writes, and communicates in a clear and efficient manner via various types of correspondence, such as, in person, phone, email, letters, etc. Adheres to all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable banking rules, regulations, and laws (including BSA/AML).

    6. Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

    Education and Experience

    • High school diploma or GED

    • 0 to 6 months of related experience

    • Regular use of desktop/laptop computer, basic operating systems, and specialized software systems.

    • Basic experience with alphanumeric data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, and word processing

    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
