    Description

    This position starts at $11.00/hr.

    Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Operator is responsible for providing stellar services to guests and associates in every interaction and for the facilitation of information and room reservation requests.

    Primary Tasks:

    1. Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in an accurate, efficient, and professional manner.

    2. Review and communicate a guest folio and explain itemized room charges.

    3. Promote the hotel amenities and services to brand standards.

    4. Log wake-up call requests, takes messages/logs appropriately for guests.

    5. Enter service request tickets and performs guest callbacks to ensure satisfaction within established timeframes.

    6. Answer overflow calls from other in-house call centers or departments.

    7. Maintain knowledge of current service offerings, promotions, in-house activities or events and travel conditions.

    8. Ensure proper standards of hospitality are provided to all guests (external and internal guests) on property and/or via telephone.

    9. Perform other related duties as assigned

    Required Education, Skills and Experience:

    MINIMUM

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

    • Understands time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

    • Adapts to a constantly changing work environment

    • Recognizes an emergency situation and take appropriate action

    • Able to use sound judgment; work independently, with minimal supervision.

    • Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature

    • Competent in public speaking

    • Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions

    • Basic math skills

    • One (1) year customer service experience preferred

    TARGET
