We are looking for an experienced Paralegal in Lexington Kentucky for a temporary to hire role. The ideal candidate will have experience as a paralegal in Workers Compensation and Insurance Defense; they will also have experience with e-filing documents on both a state and federal level. This is a temporary to hire opportunity with a pay rate between $24-$30 per hour.

salary: $24 - $30 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain case files, organizing all relevant documents and evidence for easy access and retrieval

• Manage and execute the e-filing of court documents, claims, and other legal paperwork with state and federal systems.

• Conduct detailed legal research as directed by attorneys, focusing on workers' compensation and insurance defense statutes and case law.

• Ensure all documents comply with legal standards and formats specific to workers' compensation and insurance defense.

• Monitor case timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and actions are scheduled properly.
