    A company in Hauppauge, NY is hiring a Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join their team! We are seeking someone who is able to work 3 days a week between Monday through Thursday during the hours of 9am to 5pm. In this role, you will be responsible for answering customer calls and emails, following up on requests, documenting all customer accounts and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience working in an office in a Customer Service role. Having excellent verbal and written communication skills is also required to be successul in this role.     Responsibilities

    • Offer friendly, professional, and knowledgeable assistance to clients via phone, email, and online chat platforms regarding their benefits inquiries and concerns.

    • Respond promptly and efficiently to incoming customer inquiries, providing accurate information about benefit plans, coverage details, eligibility requirements, and claim procedures.

    • Guide clients through the enrollment process, ensuring they understand available benefits options, deadlines, and required documentation. Assist in troubleshooting any issues encountered during enrollment.

    • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, issues, and disputes regarding benefit coverage, claims processing, billing discrepancies, and other related matters, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

    • Update and maintain customer records and databases with relevant information, including enrollment details, benefit selections, contact preferences, and any interactions or resolutions achieved.
