    Job Description:

    An experienced, flexible, highly organized who is responsible for covering any aspect of the front office or clinic as necessary to ensure business operations run smoothly. This includes providing coverage as a medical assistant, front desk or call center secretary and other administrative duties including scheduling and authorizations, insurance verifications, referrals and medical release forms. Effectively communicates with patients and staff to provide safe, high quality patient care and excellent customer service. He/she is a team player that follows established center policy and procedures and demonstrates the ICare values.

    Salary Range:

    $17.00 - $22.55 an hour

    The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

    Job Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    1. Education: Associate degree preferred. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred or equivalent experience.

    2. Experience: At least 2 years in health care setting.

    3. License/Certification Required: CPR skills certification

    4. Computer Skills Preferred: Epic, scheduling software, Microsoft Outlook, Excel

    5. Sensitivity to patients with obesity

    6. Pleasant manner, courteous, neat and effective communication skills
