In this role, you will support the Payroll department in a variety of duties, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. This position would suit an individual with excellent communication skills who will be expected to effectively interact between teams, such as the internal team and outside customers. A Payroll Clerk is wanted in the Lawrenceville, Georgia area. This employment opportunity will be on a long-term contract / temporary to hire basis.

    Major responsibilities

    • Assist in processing payroll for 10 sites on a biweekly basis, with 5 sites processed each week.

    • Compile payroll reports every Monday.

    • Close payroll by midday Wednesday and ensure timely submission for payment processing.

    • Review and accurately process payroll for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

    • Enter garnishments into the payroll system accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Process payroll for approximately 350-400 employees, ensuring all calculations are correct and payments are made accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues.

    • Maintain confidentiality of payroll data at all times.

    • Assist with other payroll-related tasks and projects as needed.

    Requirements - 2+ years of previous payroll experience

    • Prior Payroll software experience preferred

    • Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

    • Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

    • Eagerness to master new systems

    • Strong organization skills

    • Command of Process Payroll

    • ADP Workforce Now experience

    • Foundational knowledge in Process Biweekly Payroll

    • Comprehensive knowledge of ADP - Payroll

    • Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
