Payroll Specialist

Description

Robert Half Contract Finance & Accounting has partnered with a growing, well established company on the North Shore in search of a Payroll Specialist. Reporting to the Controller, this is a key position in the accounting department.

Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist will include

• Process weekly payroll.

• Multi-state payroll processing

• Union employees

• Timekeeping

• Process payroll related taxes, payroll journal entries

• Benefits administration including on-boarding of new-hires & updating employee payroll information

Requirements

3+ years of payroll experience

Sound attention to detail

Ability to multi-task
