Payroll Specialist

Description

A well-established client of ours in the Allen area is seeking a contract Payroll Specialist for a 3+ month project.

Responsibilities

• Execute payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established timelines.

• Utilize UltiPro Payroll software

• Address any payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing accurate and timely responses.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and company policies.

• Continuously improve payroll processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth payroll process.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.

• Experience with UltiPro is strongly preferred

• Must be able to work independently and in a team.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.

• Must have strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Professional certifications such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) will be a plus.

• Must have strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is expected.
