    Description

    Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Pool Supervisor will maintain an attractive, sanitary, and safe swimming pool for the guests at the Oasis by enforcing all pool regulations and safety requirements. Coordinate the daily operations of the pool and all pool personnel.The rate of pay for this position is $14.00 per hour.

    Primary Tasks:

    1. Monitor the cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance of the pool area.

    2. Interview, hire, train, schedule, and coach all pool personnel regarding regulations and safety.

    3. Resolve all guest concerns, and maintain positive guest relations in order to maintain customer satisfaction.

    4. Monitor guest adherence to established pool rules and regulations and take appropriate action as needed.

    5. Organize work, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines.

    6. Present professional appearance and attitude at all times; maintain a high standard of customer service.

    7. Assist with setup and/or movement of equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability for special events.

    8. Exhibit sound judgment and initiative to safeguard all users of the pool areas.

    9. Other duties as may be assigned

    Required Education, Skills and Experience:

    MINIMUM

    • American Red Cross Certification

    • American Red Cross Lifeguard training and First Aid certification

    • Skill in application of life guarding surveillance and rescue techniques

    • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services (includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction)

    • 6 months experience as Head Lifeguard or supervisory lifeguarding experience

    TARGET

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • American Red Cross Certification

    • American Red Cross Lifeguard training and First Aid certification

    • Skill in application of life guarding surveillance and rescue techniques

    • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services (includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction)

    • Previous experience in pool management and supervision
