  • An energy supplier in Chicago is seeking a Processing Analyst to join their team.

    Description

    • Work with suppliers to correct, verify, and modify confirmation details

    • Accurately and effectively enter confirmation details into Salesforce database

    • Partner with key business stakeholders to improve Salesforce platform and reporting

    • Distribute supplier confirmations, contracts, and renewal reports to sales team

    • Assist sales agents with questions regarding confirmations, contracts, and renewals

    • Develop, test, and maintain internal pricing platform

    • Work with Contract team to provide support for questions as they arise

    • Maintain continuous knowledge regarding professional and industry trends

    • Contribute positively to the team by learning new skills, procedures, and processes

    • Provide administrative support for various projects and operational tasks as needed

    • Communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external team members including sales, operations, suppliers, and management

    • Review and record all bills and employee reimbursements to ensure approvals received.

    • Reconcile vendor statements by reviewing past due invoices and main vendor contact to resolve any discrepancies.

    • Perform vendor due diligence by verification of business, tax ID and verifying bank details.

    • Prepare and perform weekly payment runs.

    • Generate and send customer invoices.

    • Post customer payments into the accounting system.

    • Reconcile the cash receipts, accounts receivable ledgers, and any related sub-ledgers for all bank accounts to ensure all payments have been properly accounted for.

    • Verify any account discrepancies by investigating with customers and the internal team.

    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.

    • Assist with company state registrations.

    • Assist Accounting team with any projects as needed

    Qualifications

    • Prefer 2-year associates in Business Administration or equivalent work experience of 1-2 years

    • Bachelor Degree (preferred) OR High School Diploma/GED

    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media, technical procedures, policies, proposals, and standard operation procedures.

    • Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to analyze information and evaluate the implication of the course of actions and solutions.

    • Demonstrate strong relationship management skills with internal clients.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, Google, and basic computer skills.

    Work Environment

    • Monday to Thursday - In-Office (Friday - Remote)

    • After the training period is completed, you will be eligible to work remotely on Friday.

    • Smaller office 10+ people. Intermit family-oriented team in fast-growing industry
