Production Planner

We are an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for our own product lines that cover Nuclear and Navy power safety valves. We design, manufacture, and finish our products in-house. Our products are sold directly to consumers and through impact partners throughout the world. IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Maintain Order/Item dates, monitor and re-schedule dates to meet supply demand

• Coordinate, and complete monthly shipment targets while ensuring customer on-time delivery.

• Provide analysis for efficiency improvements (workflow, methods, workforce utilization)

• General knowledge of assembly and machining process.

• Support of customer expectations

• Communicate with Engineering, Purchasing, Assembly, Machining, Quality, and Shipping and Receiving

WHO YOU ARE:

Designs processes and procedures that allow managing from a distance. Seeks ways to improve processes, from small tweaks to complete reengineering. Is effective in a variety of communication settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. Follows through on commitments and makes sure others do the same. Acts with a clear sense of ownership

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• High School diploma

• Three years of planning and scheduling experience

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel

• Proven experience with ERP or MRP Systems

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• An Associates or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Business or related degree

• Ability to read manufacturing prints

• Experience with Oracle

• Background in continuous improvement and root cause analysis
