    Your Opportunity

    We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator with strong multi-tasking, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills to provide administrative, operational and project related assistance to support multiple commercial and workplace projects in our Chicago, Illinois office. This position is ideal for an individual who is an organized and motivated self-starter and takes pride in keeping a team well organized, running smoothly and can "think ahead".

    Your Key Responsibilities

    In this position, you will be responsible for diverse functions that include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Coordinate with our project team across North America to facilitate meetings, coordinate travel and events, and support the internal execution of fast-paced, multi-discipline engineering.

    • Support the project management team with internal project coordination.

    • Work with Project Managers, Marketing, and other Administration staff to develop successful proposals that differentiate us from the competition.

    • Liaise with staff members and assisting with project administration including:

    • Correspondence, schedules, minutes, spreadsheets, letters, reports, presentations, database lists, specifications, contracts, etc.

    • Collate and format specifications and proposals, edit and proofread for completeness.

    • Processing expense reports and timecard administration through the oracle system.

    • Work with project managers on project start up forms and project budgeting.

    • Provide follow up in a timely manner and prioritize/sequence multiple tasks.

    • Performing other duties as requested.

    Qualifications

    Your Capabilities and Credentials

    We are seeking a self-motivated individual who ideally has experience working in an engineering or mining consulting firm, who has a demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software tools and processes. Additional qualifications include:

    • Proven proficiency using Microsoft Office and presentation support tools, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Bluebeam.

    • Flexibility and excellent organization skills to complete multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines.

    • Aptitude in working with numbers and general accounting experience; Accounts Payable.

    • Ability to work independently and in a dynamic team environment is required.

    • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

    • Self-motivated and strong attention to detail.

    • This position requires the individual to be in the office minimally 3 days a week.

    • Experience using Oracle, is a plus, but not a requirement.

    Education and Experience

    • Experience organizing and improving program and project processes is desired.

    • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced work environment with multiple stakeholders is an asset.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a professional office environment.
