Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Purchasing Assistant. As the Purchasing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the purchasing department. For this Purchasing Assistant position, excellent interpersonal and analytical skills are required. The ideal Purchasing Assistant will have a desire to advance their career and previous purchasing or procurement experience. This Purchasing Assistant position could be perfect for you if you are looking to start your career within procurement.

What you get to do every day

• Perform data entry of daily purchase orders

• Maintain a high level of customer service skills while working with vendors and suppliers

• Research and compare suppliers, goods, and services

• Help with any additional duties of the purchasing department

• Review that received orders have all necessary information

• Manage inventory levels for multiple departments

This position is 100% onsite.

Requirements

• Demonstrated strong customer service skills while working with vendors and suppliers

• Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1+ year working in a professional setting
