    Step into a pivotal role within the Department of Radiation Oncology, where you'll lead with vision and precision as the linchpin between strategy and execution. Reporting directly to the Chair and Executive Chief Administrative Officer, you'll spearhead the academic administration of the department. Your responsibilities will span from crafting and implementing operational strategies to overseeing large-scale initiatives and driving transformative change.

    With direct supervision over our Central Administrative Unit support team and educational program staff, you'll be at the helm of our operational success. Collaborate with the department HR to provide exceptional service and support.

    Salary: $64,800 - $137,600 annuallyQualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Advanced organizational and project management skills, including ability to work independently, determine appropriate priorities, and complete projects accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of attention to detail, despite competing deadlines

    • Analytical skills sufficient to interpret and apply University and campus policies; define problems; formulate logical conclusions, recognize alternatives.

    • Strong written skills to prepare accurate, concise, and clear reports and documents.

    • Advanced expertise using computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint database management and timekeeping software.

    Preferred

    • Knowledge of academic and/or administrative structure of institutions of higher education.

    • Strong demonstrated leadership, management, and supervisory skills to effectively train and guide staff at all levels, delegate tasks, set performance standards, and evaluate performance.
