The Receiving Warehouse Associate is responsible for the receiving functions of the Clinical Services Warehouse at our Philadelphia, PA site. The new hire will adjust schedules as necessary in the receiving areas to accommodate work demands, inventory control, productivity levels, safety programs, facility and warehouse equipment maintenance.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure all delivery trucks are unloaded properly and inspected for damage.
Responsible for directing the daily activities of union warehouse personnel to ensure proper response to work demands in a productive, cost effective and timely manner.
Responsible for ensuring all receipts are entered into the inventory system, labeled, and scanned into the appropriate locations.
Schedule dock appointments for incoming receipts.
Responsible for downloading templates, if necessary. Responsible for directing the Material Handlers to ensure proper response to work demands in a productive, cost-effective, and timely manner.
Support the day-to-day activities of the Clinical Services receiving functions including inventory, control, proper stowage of materials, order miscellaneous supplies, and communications functions.
Generate regular reports as to physical inventory cycle counts and receipt issues.
Education or Equivalent:
Forklift experience desire and have the ability to lift/transport loads.
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Aptitude for keeping accurate, detailed inventory and distribution records required.
Knowledge of drug product nomenclature preferred and have a working knowledge of cGMPs relative to clinical supplies is also preferred. Demonstrated ability to read, write, and understand customer specifications, cGMPs, and SOPs.
Ability to multi-task and demonstrate diplomatic skills - strong organizational skills.
Proficient (excellent) in English verbal and written communication skills to convey and receive ideas and instructions to/from others within and outside the organization.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, management, suppliers and customers.
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and have the ability to follow written and oral instructions in an accurate manner.
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly.
Occasionally lift 0-50 pounds.
Perform repetitive and physical tasks for extended periods.
Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments (between 30Â°C and -20?C) using the appropriate personal protective equipment.
