  • Job Description

    The Records Coordinator must be able to effectively assist our Records Department Team as needed while maintaining a professional working environment. Light duties of accurately processing Certified Medical Records requests, following-up on phone call and/or email inquiries pertaining to record requests and any other assigned duties as directed by Supervisor.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Must adhere to all guidelines prior to the production to Release information to Patients, Healthcare Facilities, and any other requesting entities

    • Must be very detail oriented, organized, ability to multi-task, strong communication skills both verbally and written, and seeking growth opportunities

    • Must work well individually and as a part of a team; strong team-player mentality

    • Able to produce efficiently in a quiet, but fast-moving and demanding environment

    • Maintaining patient confidentiality as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) · Experience with Electronic Medical Records system preferred

    • 2 years of Administrative or Medical Office work experience required

    • Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat experience preferred null
