Job Description

Position Summary

Works as a team that is responsible for running product on a rewinder. Rewinder Assistant position provides assistance for operator as needed. Responsible for preparing machine to run and for finishing product.

• Meets Quality expectations by correcting defects in a timely manner.

• Reads customer orders and makes necessary corrections and notify operator if non-conforming material is produced.

• Operates core cutter.

• Machine Maintenance.

• May occasionally use forklift/roll clamp to transport product.

• Ability to fill in for Rewinder Operator job when necessary.

• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

• Product or industry specific machine experience.

• Have basic mechanical skills.

• High School level mathematics.

• Trouble shooting/problem solving skills.
