    SUMMARY Insures that customers receive the best sales service possible through processing orders, preparing general correspondence, and coordinating with other departments as required. Act as customer contact regarding pricing, scheduling, shipping and billing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Coordinates customer master setup. Creates order/ billing with reference to quote and verifies all information; liaises with sales staff. 2. Insures the accuracy of all billing, processing of debit and credit memos 3. Communicate significant information regarding customer accounts/orders to appropriate internal departments including ensuring Sales Representatives are informed of pertinent activity regarding individual accounts. 4. Serve as a link between the customer and the sales and operations teams to meet customer requirements including addressing order changes. 5. Investigate and resolve customer complaints including billing issues and escalates to manager or appropriate internal departments when needed. Support job site close out (damages and shortages and conversion to sale) 6. Maintain organized customer files. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; or minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of product helpful. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SAP; Excel and Microsoft Word. This position requires an employee to work in a variety of locations including, but not limited to: office and yard/warehousing locations. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is primarily in an office environment. The employee will occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, climate variances and moving mechanical equipment typically found in a yard/warehousing environment. The noise level in the work environment (office) is usually low, but much higher when exposed to the areas within the yard/warehouse.
