Mitsubishi Chemical Group-ALPOLIC Division is seeking a Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing Operator to join a team committed to excellence, continuous improvement and driving sustainable business results. The Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing Operator is responsible for warehouse operations activities including shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing the storage of surplus inventory and property. Package finished goods off of production line and pack finished goods orders for customer shipment.

    What You Will Do...

    • Under direction, performs a variety of shipping/receiving, stocking activities; stores and distributes supplies and equipment; maintains inventory and stock records; may serve as a lead worker to other classified staff in the area, and perform related work as required.

    • Keep work area clean

    • Adhere to safety and environmental rules

    • Control and operate equipment safely

    • Provide value to our customers through effective operations of assigned work area and support to the facility.

    • Support Supervisors and team in training and cross-training efforts

    • Delivers orders to faculty and staff.

    • Ships canceled and damaged items back to vendors as appropriate.

    • Proficient with woodworking equipment, such as saws, and pneumatic nail and staple guns

    • Math skills specifically measuring and using a tape measure, understanding of the metric system

    What You Will Have...

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • 1-2 years of manufacturing experience

    • Fluent in spoken and written English required

    • Legible handwriting for document completion

    • Basic math skills & effective use of the metric system

    • Quality conscious and organized

    • Self-motivated

    • Able to work alone or in a team setting

    • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment to include safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and additional PPE as required.

    • Correctable eyesight required.

    • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.

    • Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, forward-reaching, and twisting.

    • Occasional squatting, crouching, and above shoulder reaching.

    • Able to stand for an extended period of time.

    • Dexterity manipulation required for use of hand tools and light equipment.

    • Must be able to push/pull material using a pallet jack.

    • Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., infrequent lifting up to 75 lbs.

    • Moderate exposure to temperature change in a non-climate-controlled environment with the potential of working near heated processes.

    • Must be able to maintain the Forklift license as issued by Mitsubishi.

    • Must be goal-oriented with a focus on safety, process improvement, and team building.

    The salary range for this position is $14.00 per hour - $15 .00 per hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
