Sr. Accountant

Description

Senior Accountant opportunity with a service company in the Seymour area. The Senior Accountant will primarily be focused on assisting with financial statement preparation, financial analysis, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, journal entry preparation, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing and ad hoc responsibilities. The ideal Senior Accountant will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience ideally in the service industry and experience working in an ERP software. A minimum of a BS degree in Accounting is required while an advanced degree is preferred.

Base salary up to 90k + strong benefits!

Requirements

• Current and relevant ERP system experience

• Command of Monthly Bank Reconciliation

• Month end closings experience

• Exceptional time management skills preferred

• Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

• Strong communication and social skills

• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

• 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience

• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

• Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

• BA/BS in Accounting
