From working with a team of dedicated professionals to using state-of-the-art facilities, you'll have phenomenal resources to do something incredible.The Heart Institute Operations department is currently seeking for a highly motivated Sr. Administrative Assistant who enjoys and excels at providing administrative support in a team environment.What will you be doing in this role?The Sr. Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a wide range of administrative duties supporting Executive Director of the Smidt Heart Institute.He/She will be responsible for:Managing a complex calendarEffectively coordinating meetings with leadership and ensuring required materials and information are providedType rough draft or verbal instructions, correspondences, and narrativesCompose routine business correspondences with minimal supervisionCoordinate travel arrangementsPerform other administrative dutiesThe Sr. Administrative Assistant must be able to organize, prioritize, and complete various assignments with tight deadlines. Must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness and problem-solving skills in applying their knowledge, skills, and abilities to the responsibilities, functions and underlying management structure of the department and of the larger Health System. Great tact and diplomacy are required to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of the office. Must be well versed in gathering information and preparing ad-hoc presentations and reports.Qualifications we are looking for:+ High School Diploma/GED required+ College Diploma highly preferred + A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience required+ Administrative Assistant experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred+ Demonstrated ability to compose letters, policy statements, procedure manuals and reports on own initiative; ability to organize complex statistical and narrative reports, charts and exhibits into a complete document suitable for publication and distribution+ Ability to edit material and ensure correct punctuation, spelling and grammar+ Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneousl+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills+ Proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment+ Proficient to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite+ Demonstrate a positive, can-do, go-the-extra-mile attitudeCedars-Sinai is an EEO employer.
