Sr. Fund Manager, Supervisor - OBGYN

Description

The David Geffen School of Medicine, Department of OBGYN is seeking to hire a full time a Senior Fund Manager, Supervisor.

Under the general direction of the Department Chair, Chief Administrative Office (CAO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other Department leaders and in concert with other research administrative staff, you will bear primary responsibility for all phases of pre- and post-award administration for intra/extramurally funded research awards for Departmental Principal Investigators.

Pay Range: $78,800 - $175,000 annually.Qualifications

• 1-3 years of financial, clerical or administrative experience

• 1 - 3 years of complex Research Administration portfolio

• 3 - 5 years of Research Administration experience

• Experience with all types of award mechanisms, including grants, contracts, subcontracts, and cooperative agreements.

• Ability to interpret policy for others.

• Advanced knowledge of effective grant funding processes, procedures and techniques.

• Full knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Code of Federal Regulations, sponsor-specific policies, intellectual

• property policy, conflict of interest requirements, publication rights, application of indirect cost rates and other complex concepts in research administration.

• Experience with all types of award mechanisms, including grants, contracts, subcontracts, and cooperative agreements.

• Ability to perform highly complex financial analysis and customized reporting.
