  • Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Staff Accountant who will be working in our office in Miramar, Florida. This role will revolve around the review and reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts, financial report analysis, and maintaining payment processing systems. You will also be required to track various incentive and sales commission programs.

    Responsibilities

    • Review and reconcile approximately 40 General Ledger Accounts on a monthly basis.

    • Analyze sales expense reports versus budget and identify causes of fluctuations for the executive team.

    • Prepare and distribute financial statements and various financial reports monthly.

    • Conduct regular analysis of Monthly General Ledger expenses vs prior year.

    • Prepare and review gross profit general ledger postings.

    • Reconcile and review bank deposit cash postings.

    • Prepare monthly executive team expense reconciliations and Juice Department Profit and Loss statements.

    • Track all incentive program payments/submissions and verify to avoid duplication.

    • Process incentives for payout and submit to payroll for payment.

    • Prepare analysis reports as needed for management. Requirements - Proven experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

    • Demonstrated ability in sales and reporting

    • Experience with payroll and payment processing

    • Familiarity with budget processes and cash activity management

    • Ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks as required

    • Solid understanding of general ledger functions

    • Experience in preparing financial statements and financial reporting

    • Ability to process journal entries and perform bank reconciliations

    • Experience in managing relationships with suppliers

    • Skilled in video conferencing tools for remote meetings

    • Knowledge of closing procedures and submission processes

    • Familiarity with commission functions and bank deposit processes

    • Ability to work onsite when required

    • Experience in managing expense accounts

    • Capable of performing reconciliations quarterly

    • Understanding of financial review processes

    • Training experience in accounting practices.
