    If you are located in the Las Vegas, NV area, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Manager with operations for multiple locations for OptumCare Anesthesiology in the Las Vegas area

    • Coordinate and supervise daily/weekly/monthly activities of a team members

    • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met

    • Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments

    • Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment

    • Provide coaching, feedback and annual performance reviews as well as formal corrective action

    • Manage employee areas related to practice enhancement, EMR training, work standardization, ongoing training, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies

    Required Qualifications:

    • High school Diploma or equivalent

    • 1+ year of supervisory / leadership experience

    • 5+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems in an office, claims or customer service environment

    • 5+ healthcare care industry

    • Clinical operations experience (billing, coding, quality measures, documentation, scheduling)

    • EMR experience

    • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint

    • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Anesthesiology scheduling experience

    • 5+ years in healthcare management experience in a clinic / healthcare setting

    • 5+ years of progressive medical practice experience

    • 3+ years managerial/supervisory experience,

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to work within a team environment and navigate multiple concurrent deadlines

    • Ability to apply critical thinking and analytical tools to outgoing reports

    • Ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications

    • Ability to multi-task including the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
