    Job Description:

    Supervisor, Delivery (Print-mail)

    This position's focus will be on the processing of system generated customer print & mail files in accordance with the US Post Office guidelines. Your staff will utilize high speed automated document insertion machines from KERN International, along with high-speed full color inkjet printers from CANON. The primary goal is to meet client expectations by managing document quality, staff, workload, machine output, due dates, and service level agreements (SLAs) each and every day. Analytical thinking, communication, and problem solving will be keys to your success. The ability to multi-task and work on several initiatives at once will be required.

    Supervision of the team and processes, ensuring that tasks (Print and Insert) are carried out in a timely manner, and that members of staff are fulfilling their respective role within the department per the requirements of the service level agreement (SLA). First shift carries the vital responsibility of ensuring all USPS Hot Jobs shipped by the daily deadline of 3pm.

    Work schedule: 1st shift , Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30pm and some weekends as needed. This is an exempt position that may require additional working hours.

    The opportunity ON-SITE and is located at our facility in Plano, TX.

    Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Overseeing daily workflow of specific workgroups and/or segments of the workflow process.

    • Managing a team of full and part-time frontline employees.

    • Handling complex customer relationships while utilizing service improvement tools and methodologies.

    • "Direct ownership" of transactional process (printing and inserting) performance, including allocating work in process to maximize high productivity and excellent quality.

    • Responsible for shift operations, operations management of process delays, breakdowns, and resolving problems or obstacles to production and/or quality.

    • Providing guidance and development of the Team Leaders and Operations team members.

    • Effectively utilizing teamwork and leadership behaviors to create a highly engaged environment.

    • Ensuring that all customer and Conduent guidelines, policies, and procedures are followed as they relate to operations, internal audit and security, and general management practices.

    • Scheduling feedback and counseling with associates to ensure optimal performance.

    • Must be able to adapt and handle change effectively.

    • Conduct other job responsibilities per management direction.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma/GED required.

    • Experienced in supervisory/leadership roles, preferably in a large Transaction Processing or Mailroom environment.

    • Ability to lead, direct staff.

    • Ability to coordinate and organize work while meeting deadlines.

    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task.

    • Functional experience with MS Office.

    • Good decision-making skills and strong communication skills.

    • Display core leadership abilities: strong planning/organization, motivation, problem solving/conflict resolution, analytical, team building.

    • Must be currently eligible to work in the United States for any employer.

    Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $45,000 - $66,500.
