    The Surgery Scheduler schedules all surgeries, communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, physicians & co-workers.

    Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required

    • Two or more years' experience in surgery scheduling required

    • Comprehension of medical terminology and the insurance/healthcare industry required

    • Knowledge of ICD9 coding and insurance knowledge/experience preferred

    • Team oriented

    • Patient friendly

    • Takes on new responsibility as needed.

    • Reliable and self-starter

    • Good verbal and written communication skills with patients, physicians, and staff

    • Organized and very detail-oriented

    • Dependable

    • Computer and typing skills
