    Job Purpose/Overview

    The Technical Product Manager will execute product delivery plans and support evangelization of a defined portfolio of products by capturing customer requirements and aligning them with product delivery plans. They will execute requirements to deliver on-time, on-budget, and on-target project plans for the delivery of new products, features, and enhancements. The Technical Product Manager will handle a range of diagnostic assays, products, and related services across the Antech Diagnostics and Imaging ecosystem. They will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, including concept, design, production, testing, launch, product evolution, feature expansion, and decommissioning.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Product Master Data Management (PMDM):

    • Lead the strategic development of Antech's PMDM solution and serve as a global expert.

    • Dynamically maintain the PMDM roadmap to support overall company goals.

    • Train and support PMDM users and advise other regions developing localized PMDMs.

    • Collaborate to build and maintain APIs that enable a single source of Product Data to flow throughout all relevant applications (e.g. ~~~/ , HealthTracks, Antrim, etc.)

    • Directory of Services (DOS):

    • Lead the team responsible for curating all Product Data, both internal and external facing.

    • Represent the commercial team as a content lead for the annual DOS project, including providing all product data and maintaining a list of active and relevant products to include in all forms of this publication (online, print, through HealthTracks, etc.), and supporting the on-time delivery of this project.

    • Annual Price Increase Project

    • Assist in creating the distribution list, inclusive of customer master data information, for the annual pricing communication.

    • Assist in increasing all customer Special Prices.

    • Assist in increasing all Fee Schedule Prices.

    • Assist in increasing all AIS Prices.

    • Assist in the dynamic creation of all customer's price communication (both for National Accounts and for direct-communication accounts), including facilitating any printing and shipping needs in collaboration with the marketing team.

    • Assist in drafting the annual price increase communication.

    • Assist in driving and implementing new initiatives, often corresponding with the price increase, and integrating any relevant pricing changes accordingly (e.g. addition of electrolytes or SDMA).

    • Developing a consolidated statement of invoices (e.g. you get your AIS, Heska, Ref lab, Sound, etc. invoices in one "consolidated" statement of invoices).

    • Driving towards a single price communication for all Antech businesses (again, AIS, Heska, ref lab, Sound, etc.).

    • Assist in providing custom pricing requests when needed.

    • General Duties

    • Serve as the subject matter expert to ensure accurate and timely communication, planning, and execution around products in the portfolio, including ensuring adherence to Antech New Product Development (NPD) process.

    • Create and maintain detailed product and project plans that drive the on-time, on-target, and on-budget delivery of products, services, and enhancements to Antech's customers.

    • Communicate obstacles with leadership early and often to determine how to meet deadlines and deliverables.

    • Collect and interpret customer requirements through research and available market data and use it to shape products and enable the development of long-term product roadmaps.

    • Execute product marketing strategies and objectives in conjunction with the Marketing Team to bring them to life.

    • Partner with sales team and help them grow in their understanding of the product to boost sales.

    • Gather and analyze insights from the field sales team to suggest modifications to products and shape product strategy.

    • Continue professional and technical education, attending workshops, seminars, etc.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in STEM, marketing, business, communications, or similar disciplines.

    • 4+ years working in data management, software product management, or similar role, ideally in the software or mass retail space.

    • Veterinary industry/animal health industry experience (vendors, manufacturers, diagnostics, large clinics) is preferred, but not required.

    • International experience or exposure is preferred, but not required.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Can communicate and demonstrate a personal passion for helping veterinarians and the pets in their care.

    • Can empathize with the pet owner's experience and parlay this into actions to improve the same.

    • High level of learning agility and desire to better understand the animal health industry with a focus on diagnostics.

    • Understands how to deliver on customer experience with a special focus on Veterinary practice roles (veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and practice managers).

    • Excellent project management skills.

    • Ability to communicate and present in front of diverse audiences of any size and organizational level both in writing and verbally, virtually and in-person.

    • Ethically driven with an ability to understand and apply the Five Principles of Mars when making decisions.

    • Excellent negotiation skills.

    • Can work well with little direction to accomplish defined outcomes.

    • Can both follow and define goals and outcomes of project work.

    • Detail orientation and ability to plan and prioritize.

    • Able to identify roadblocks, communicate solutions, and collaborate on execution of solutions.

    • Experience working with CRM solutions, marketing automation platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Marketing Cloud), and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

    • Strong MS Office skills required - including proficiency working in Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Ability to lead various types of commercial initiatives.

    Travel

    Working Conditions

    The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office or virtual environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

    The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment or a remote home office. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, video conferencing and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams. Environment where pets are present

    The Target Pay Range for this position is $97,020 -$121,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
