  • Tektronix is seeking a dynamic individual who excels in leadership roles! We are actively looking for a Territory Service Manager committed to cultivating an inclusive and empowered team passionate about delivering results. As a leader in our Service Solutions Operations team you will lead all aspects of a technical service team performing calibration, maintenance, and repair of electronic, mechanical, and process control assemblies and instrumentation.     Responsibilities

    • Lead a diverse team comprising managerial, technical, logistics, and customer service professionals.

    • Achieve business objectives related to safety, operational performance, revenue, and profitability.

    • Ensure the team meets performance goals such as quality, on-time delivery (OTD), backlog management, and Net Promoter Score (NPS).

    • Apply daily management and FBS fundamentals to fulfill short- and long-term commitments, setting clear expectations and motivating the team to attain objectives.

    • Foster an environment that values diverse perspectives and backgrounds, facilitating open dialogue to address issues and drive organizational success.

    • Support the growth and development of high-potential employees, aligning with their career aspirations within Tektronix/Fortive.

    • Champion employee engagement by actively seeking, listening to, and acting upon feedback to drive continuous improvement.

    • Implement quality management systems to improve customer satisfaction, support business growth, and drive market expansion.

    • Partner closely with Fluke business and operations teams on an ongoing basis.

    • Encourage the use of FBS tools to analyze and address high-priority challenges, implementing process-based solutions and conducting root cause analysis.

    • Travel within the territory, including both local and national travel, to conduct site visits and support team activities.

    Qualifications

    • 3 years' experience in a supervisory/management role required, preferably in services, operations, or a related technical field.

    • Preferred minimum of 5 years of technical experience in metrology with expertise in electronic equipment calibration.

    • Experience in managing through influence in a matrix environment is advantageous.

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience of 6+ years.

    • Proven track record of attracting, recruiting, developing and retaining top talent.

    • Strong communication, employee relations, and team-building skills.

    • Shown success in achieving financial and operational objectives in a high-technology service industry is a plus.

    • Effective planning, organizing, and time management skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, & Outlook).

    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

    This position's primary/essential functions are subject to U.S. Government ITAR compliance requirements under current government contracts. Therefore, all employees in this position must be either: 1) a U.S. citizen, permanent resident (green card holder) or refugee/asylee or 2) must be willing to allow or cooperate with the company in applying for a U.S. government license, if necessary.
