    Position Summary

    Responsible for development and implementation of documentation for compliance to meet regulatory requirements for programs such as NERC and FERC. Serves in a role directly supporting the design, implementation and execution of existing and new compliance support tools. Coordinates compliance processes embedded in the Transmission organization. Assists with the design assembly and packaging of compliance report data needed to support internal audits, external audits and investigations. Reports compliance work progress to Sr. Consultant-Transmission Policy and Compliance, Transmission Control Center Manager and Transmission Asset Manager. Initiates and builds relationships with internal and external customers and solution providers. Summary: Review, update and manage Policy and Procedure documentation Update and maintain NERC Compliance Documentation Coordinate review and update of EOP on an ongoing basis Support ProjectWise documentation system Coordinate review and update of Control Center Plans (System Restoration Plan, Loss of Control Center Plan, UFLS Plan, others) Manage compliance-related correspondence Submit compliance-related information to regional entities (i.e. monthly CPS reports, event-driven reports and submittals) Control Center compliance training in conjunction with the Training Coordinator

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Responsible for development, implementation, and monitoring of documentation for compliance to meet regulatory requirements for programs such as NERC and FERC. Produce documentation necessary to support compliance audits.

    • Responsible for the design of real-time compliance reports for Transmission Operations and Planning managers to use while executing compliance work in an efficient and effective manner utilizing current tracking tools as well as tools under development.

    • Responsible for the design, development, and population of auditable event investigation reports

    • Leads efforts relating to the design and development of compliance process training for Transmission Operations and Planning personnel who execute compliance work. Responsible for delivery of training when required in a classroom setting. Participates in development of training modules developed for electronic delivery.

    • Gathers data as required to meet internal and external requests for information. Tracks and monitors corrective actions and follow-up work execution. Assists in reviews and development of measures to increase productivity and standardization. Adjusts work assignments to changing priorities.

    • Coordinate annual review and update of major plans for Transmission Operations and Planning.

    • Ensure submission of compliance-related information to regional entities (e.g. monthly CPS reports).

    Minimum Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. Minimum of 5-8 years experience of transmission operations, engineering, or planning. Demonstrated knowledge of FERC and NERC requirements and regulations. Demonstrated experience working with MicroSoft Office Suite and experience with ProjectWise preferred. Demonstrated project management, communication, time management and critical thinking skills.

    Non-Bargaining

    The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $81,000.00 to $115,867.00 per year
