    Home Depot Equipment Services is comprised of over 400 talented and highly trained professional technicians to deliver comprehensive management of commercial equipment including installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and parts management.

    POSITION PURPOSE

    The Warehouse Associates are responsible for the beginning to end process of shipping and receiving part orders to our technicians in the field. The position is in a warehouse setting. Daily tasks are but not limited to receiving, stocking, order picking, order verification, packing, cycle counting, shipping, and other general warehouse duties.

    MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Receiving of parts into Warehouse/Appolis system

    Placing parts into correct bin locations

    Picking and packaging orders for shipment

    Verify order accuracy

    Organize and maintain item bin locations

    Oversees disposal of surplus material and/or scrap products

    Prepare boxes and shipping supplies for outbound shipments

    Perform cycle counts when required

    Process returned parts from Field Technicians

    Assist with shipping orders using Fed Ex/UPS systems and console

    Assist with loading and offloading trucks

    Assist with general housekeeping duties

    NATURE AND SCOPE

    Typically reports to Manager Service Operations.

    This position has no direct reports.

    ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Environment: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

    Onsite - An associate in an onsite role is required to work at a specific Home Depot location in order to complete their job duties. We also refer to this as location - dependent.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Must be eighteen years of age or older.

    Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

    Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

    Experience : 3 years preferred; Operation of power lift equipment is preferred

    Physical Job Requirements - Most of the time is spent standing and walking and there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift material or equipment. Frequent repetitive movements of upper body (hands and arms). Lifting up to 80 lbs occasionally

    Additional Qualifications :

    -Strong verbal and written communication skills

    -High level of professional ethics, tact, and courtesy in dealing with suppliers and co-workers

    -Strong computer and documentation skills

    -Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    -RF scanner experience a plus
