Responsibilities

• Operating heavy machinery: Warehouse associates use forklifts and other equipment to load and unload products.

• Maintaining inventory: Warehouse associates track inventory levels to prevent shipping delays. They also stock merchandise by size, shape, and type.

• Preparing for shipment: Warehouse associates prepare orders for shipment by picking items using handheld scanners.

• Regulatory compliance: Warehouse associates ensure the company maintains inventory procedures by overseeing the work process and supervising other employees and warehouse operations.

• Organizing warehouse space: Warehouse associates organize stocks and keep the warehouse clean and organized daily.

• Inspecting products: Warehouse associates inspect products for defects and damages.

• Examining shipments: Warehouse associates examine incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Labeling: Warehouse associates tag and label merchandise for organizational and tracking purposes.

• Checking invoices: Warehouse associates check, verify, and fill customer invoices.

• Improving procedures: Warehouse associates contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
