    Job Duties:

    Perform the tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storage and distribution of laboratory reagents, materials, parts, supplies and equipment in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), applicable sections of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs), with emphasis on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 (CLIA), and applicable Takeda and BioLife policies, procedures and quality initiatives.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Perform the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distribution of reagents, parts, material, supplies and equipment received at BioLife Testing Laboratory.

    Prepare and maintain records of incoming and outgoing materials.

    Examine stock and distribute materials in inventory.

    Assist with the unloading and receipt of sample shipping boxes.

    Rotate inventory of sample shipping boxes and packing materials back to the plasma centers.

    Distribute incoming and outgoing mail.

    Distribute incoming and outgoing packages.

    All other duties as assigned.

    Must be able to determine impact to product quality when testing deviations occur, contain the situation and implement preventive actions.

    Interfaces with employees of various educational backgrounds and levels within the company. Must be able to communicate effectively with all these various business partners.

    Complexity

    Ability to stand up for 6 - 8 hours.

    Ability to lift, carry and pull up to fifty (50) pounds.

    Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens.

    Ability to work in a warehouse environment requiring the ability to walk and stand for the entire work shift.

    Performing and demonstrating work assignments, which may involve lifting, bending, stooping, sitting, leaning.

    Requires frequent lifting up to 30 pounds, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

    The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

    High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    Desired:

    Associate's degree

    3-5 years general warehouse and/or technical office experience preferred.

    U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

    $18.85 - $29.62

    The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.? The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

    U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
