    Job Purpose Summary

    • We are seeking a Clean Room Supervisor with an engaging and generous spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team. The Clean Room Supervisor is responsible for the assignment and coordination of daily workflow for the final assembly of medical devices within the Grand Blanc, MI plant. The candidate for this role will spend a portion of their time working hands-on, assembling medical devices with their remaining time being spent leading members within the clean room team.

    What you will do

    • Production aspects associated with routine assembly of medical devices.

    • Proactively and preventively assure the health and safety of all clean room team members, and the quality of our medical devices.

    • Support root cause analysis of safety or quality gaps. Implement robust corrective and preventive measures to assure deficiencies do not reoccur.

    • Lead daily operational aspects within the clean room of the Grand Blanc, MI facility to meet or exceed daily and weekly production requirements.

    • Partner with planning and scheduling leader to align on routine production plans.

    • Support revisions to work instructions and ensure they are regularly used by operators.

    • Define, implement, and measure key performance indicators for the clean room. Drive process improvements based on performance measurements.

    • Drive the reduction of rework, scrap, and overall cost.

    • Implement processes to increase operational efficiency.

    • Train (cross-train), develop, and organize staff to perform and meet daily responsibilities and objectives effectively. Assure on-the-job training documentation is maintained.

    • Assure breaks and lunches are covered by operators on bottleneck processes.

    • Manage timekeeping and attendance for all clean room colleagues.

    • Conduct periodic inspections of clean room machinery, equipment, and working conditions to ensure conformance to appropriate safety and quality standards and regulations.

    • Assure routine cleanings are completed each week.

    • Assure preventive maintenance and calibration requirements are withheld.

    • Assure proper clean room techniques and hygiene are always maintained.

    • Assure production labeling, batch card, non-conforming material, and computer documentation are appropriately and timely maintained.

    • Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices

    • Ability to teach and coach clean room operators

    • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience

    • Lean manufacturing experience preferred
