    Loyola Medicine, treating the whole person with compassion-to "also treat the human spirit." We are seeking a Dynamic Scheduler to schedule patient appointments in conjunction with orders, urgency of care and patient convenience, involving multiple sites when appropriate.

    Job Duties:

    Scheduling:

    • Monitor physicians' schedules daily to optimize physician scheduling.

    • Schedule patient appointments considering orders, urgency of care, and patient convenience.

    • Coordinate appointments across multiple sites when necessary.

    Insurance Verification:

    • Utilize insurance verification procedures to ensure maximum reimbursement and correct payment for services.

    Computer Applications:

    • Proficiency in clinical, registration, and scheduling software systems.

    • Be open to learning and adapting to new systems as required.

    Telephone Utilization:

    • Efficiently and effectively manage a high volume of telephone calls related to the service area.

    • Answer calls using telephone customer service skills, aiming to maintain a 95% customer satisfaction rate for telephone interactions.

    Position Requirements:

    Required:

    • An Associate's Degree or equivalent training acquired through work experience or education.

    • Minimum of 3 years of previous job-related experience.

    Preferred:

    • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training acquired through work experience or education.

    • Previous experience as a Service Rep is highly preferred.

    In this role, the Dynamic Scheduler plays a crucial part in optimizing physician schedules, ensuring insurance verification, and managing appointment scheduling efficiently. Strong computer skills, particularly in healthcare software systems, are essential, and the ability to handle a high volume of phone calls is important.

    Previous experience as a Service Rep is advantageous.
