Jr. Accounts Receivable Specialist

Direct-Hire / Permanent position

Fully onsite, 5 days per week in the office

Robert Half is looking for a Jr. Accounts Receivable Specialist professional to join their clients accounting department. In this position, the Jr. Accounts Receivable Specialist will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain a cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.

The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, have a desire to excel in an accounting department, handle the accounts receivable functions for their customers and be a liaison internally. Opportunity for growth and promotion within the company as they continue to expand.

• AS / BS Degree preferred

• 1+ years of AR/Billing/Invoicing experience preferred - will consider without if you have a degree and an interest in this type of position

• Team player, eager to learn and be trained

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field

• Skilled with ERP systems

• Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired

• Collections experience highly desired
