  • Powell's Northlake, Illinois location is currently seeking a Master Scheduler to join their team! The Master Scheduler will provide schedules for the facility which supports customer demand while ensuring that the facility is able to meet the schedules within their capacity constraints.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Thorough knowledge of scheduling to master schedule product through the facility

    • Thorough knowledge of planned revenue calculations based on sales forecast (expected bookings), existing master schedule and Percentage Of Completion (POC) schedules

    • Create, manage and communicate monthly, quarterly and yearly production plans including revenue projections

    • Manage and adjust master schedule to meet Company objectives of revenue for monthly, quarterly and yearly projections

    • Attend in house and outside training sessions

    • Attend local professional associations

    • Learn policies and procedures, work instruction, ISO policies, Safety Rules and Regulations, and vendor products

    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED. BBA or BS degree preferred

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a material ordering, supplier relations, and schedule management

    • Must have P6/Primavera scheduling software experience

    Skills, Abilities, and other requirements

    • Possess a thorough knowledge of master scheduling of a finished product with multiple levels of process required to reach the finished stage

    • Ability to identify areas of opportunity and areas of concern regarding production plan versus planned capacity

    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Good oral and written communication skills

    • Good organization skills

    • Must be responsible and dependable

    • Must have demonstrated excellent leadership skills

    Working Environment

    The employee typically performs duties in both a manufacturing shop and in a normal office environment. There will be exposure to the elements of our shop. Additionally, there may be some work performed in the field with exposure to construction sites or active customer facilities.
