    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee staff by providing direction and guidance in work assignments and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of tasks.

    • Maintains ownership of accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of the order-to-cash process.

    • Process cash applications for all customers and reconcile any discrepancies weekly

    • Develops, coaches and supports the revenue accounting team to maximize individual and team performance.

    • Create and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to staff and management.

    • Manage and maintain the monthly revenue (calendar, reviews, reconciliations, reporting) metrics, reports and reconciliation.

    • Work with Settlements to ensure alignment with revenue recognition and contractor / carrier expenses.

    • Formalize revenue recognition policies and procedures and communicate with the appropriate parties to ensure compliance and alignment with customer requirements.

    • Establish standard processes for new client onboarding to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of invoicing, accounting and reporting.

    • Identify opportunities and lead improvements in the invoicing processes to improve timeliness and accuracy.

    • Establish strong relationships with operational leaders to learn the business, ensure their understanding of their responsibilities within the invoicing process, and provide training as necessary.

    • Work closely with IT to develop standard data collection practices to support automated invoicing processes.

    • Ensure appropriate levels of documentation on invoicing processes to ensure business continuity.

    QUALIFICATONS

    Education & Experience:

    Minimum 5 years of accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required. Masters Degree preferred. Certified Public Accounting license preferred. Prior experience managing a team required.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Advanced mathematical skills to apply concepts to practical situations and compute and interpret numerical data. Ability to learn and effectively use software applications. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and exercise good judgment in dealing with sensitive information. Ability to analyze complex process flows and recommend, as well as implement, changes to improve staff efficiencies and results. Ability to work effectively in a team. Exemplary organization and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under minimal supervision and with a strong sense of self-motivation. Strong analytical ability and high attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a changing environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to sufficiently read, speak, and write on a professional level. Comfortable presenting to and communicating with a range of employees, managers, and customers.
